Vice Provost and Dean of Grad Studies - KU Advance Operations Support GA

The Operations Support Graduate Assistant (GA) supports the KU Advance initiative through a combination of operational, technical, marketing, and creative responsibilities. This role is ideal for a motivated, adaptable graduate student who enjoys wearing multiple hats, balancing both creative and detail-oriented work, and contributing to a growing program in a variety of ways.

The GA will assist with daily operations by maintaining and updating digital tools and databases, supporting basic system administration, coordinating projects and meetings, managing documents and schedules, and helping streamline workflows to improve efficiency across the office. The role also supports program evaluation and reporting efforts through data collection, organization, and tracking.

Additionally, the GA will play an active role in KU Advance’s communications, marketing, and outreach efforts. Responsibilities include maintaining the program’s online presence, creating content for web and social media platforms, designing promotional and branded materials such as flyers, digital announcements, presentations, and graphics, and supporting engagement initiatives that promote programs and events. Creative experience in areas such as graphic design, social media content creation, branding, photography, video editing, or digital marketing is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable contributing to both the operational and creative sides of the office and be willing to learn new systems, tools, and processes as program needs evolve. Collaboration with team members on both short- and long-term initiatives is essential, along with strong organizational skills, creativity, initiative, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours per semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester.  Please contact Melissa Lincoln for additional information if needed at lincoln@kutztown.edu.
