Academic Level: BCLA Junior, Senior or Masters
Hours: Approximately 24-hours/week (10 weeks)
Duration: (June 1 – August 7) Summer 2026

Position Overview
The Communications and Events Intern will support outreach, marketing, and event planning efforts. This role is ideal for students interested in storytelling, digital communication, and public engagement.
Interns will assist with promoting programs, creating content, and coordinating events that increase community participation and awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with social media content creation and digital communications
- Draft newsletters, promotional materials, or website content
- Support planning and coordination of events, workshops, or community programs
- Help manage event logistics including registration and outreach
- Capture event highlights through photos, notes, or recap materials
- Conduct outreach to partners, community members, or stakeholders
