**Currently, this position operates under a hybrid telework plan of two days in the office and three days of telework. The initial training period for this position will require the candidate to work 100% in the office. Required work hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday**

The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Administration Services has an opening for an Accounting Administrator I, Supervisor in the Accounting Branch. The position is located at 1001 I Street, 18th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Duties:  

Description of duties, etc. The applicants can review the Duty Statement attached.

The Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) plans, directs, and supervise the activities of the Revenue/Payroll Unit which is responsible for making deposits, preparing invoices, collecting delinquent accounts receivables, and posting receipts to a variety of complex fiscal systems including FI$Cal, the Financial Management System (FMS), the California Integrated Water Quality System (CIWQS), Stormwater Multiple Application and Report Tracking System (SMARTS), Daily Activity Recording and Tracking System (DARTS), Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) and the Loans and Grants Tracking System (LGTS) for multiple programs, appropriations, and fund sources.  Reviews, approves, and signs: refund requests, bank deposits; monthly uncleared deposits, dishonored checks, unclaimed property, payroll advances; CIWQS, SMARTS, FMS, DARTS, ELAP, Operator Certification (Op Cert), Devices, EFT, and payroll receivables reconciliation reports.  Directs staff in clearing FI$Cal daily edits and clearing SCO reconciliation items identified by General Ledger.  Supervises the coordination year end accrual process with revenue program managers.

The Accounting Branch supports multiple funds, programs, State and Regional Water Boards as well as Drinking Water Offices throughout the State of California. Overtime during peak periods, such as yearend, may be required.
