Product Development & Operations Intern
Company Description
Sonavex is a venture-backed medical device company, spun-out of Johns Hopkins in 2013. Sonavex’s first product platform (EchoMark and EchoSure) measures flow, depth, and diameter of an arteriovenous fistula. EchoMark is a bioresorbable implant and EchoSure is a proprietary software solution utilizing deep learning to automate ultrasound-based flow measurements. Sonavex’s second product platform, EchoMap, leverages the same ultrasound hardware as with EchoSure however, delivers automated images that visualize vessel path and depth to support cannulation. The company has raised multiple rounds of funding, received two FDA clearances, has been awarded numerous federal grants, and is pursuing expanded clinical applications for our platform.
