The Opportunity: Engineering 2026 Summer Intern
ICONIQ is seeking a talented undergraduate to intern this summer within the Engineering Team. The Engineering Team is responsible for enhancing and maintaining ICONIQ’s primary CRM that acts as the source of truth for a variety of data across our business units, while also building integrations between systems.
The Engineering Summer Intern will assist on a variety of ongoing technical projects gaining experience on full life-cycle development. The intern will be participating and learning about scoping, design, development, testing and deployment of business projects.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the design of a project offering a software solution to the business.
- Participate in analyzing business requirements and prototyping solutions.
- Participate in designing, estimating effort, implementing, testing, debugging, configuring, integrating and documenting database, technical and functional design concepts.
- Think in terms of the end-user and design accordingly.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure technical implementations meet functional requirements.
- Code or configure granular tasks on a project.
- Conduct detailed unit testing and volume/stress testing.
- Analyzing data feeds and preparing data for ingestion.
- Build reports and dashboards.

Location: San Francisco
Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. This role is an hourly position. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly pay is $38.00 per hour.
