RISE IP Ambassador, RISE Department, Fall 2026 - Spring 2027


Purpose of Position:


The RISE IP Ambassador will represent the Resilience-Informed Skills Education (RISE) Program abroad and reflect a passion for spreading awareness, education and information about resilience to the community. RISE is hoping to hire one (1) RISE IP Ambassador at each year-long International Programs location.


Scheduling for this position will average two (2) hours of work per week.


This position will be remote in the sense that the 1:1 supervisory meetings will take place via Zoom. However, the position entails leading in-person resilience events at each student's respective program.


 

Job Duties:

The RISE IP Ambassador will be integral to carrying out the mission and vision of the RISE program to the community in each IP location. 

Job duties include:

 

- Attend a training session in Malibu in Spring 2026

- 1:1 weekly supervisory meeting

- Developing familiarity with RISE materials, curriculum, and education

- Sharing resilience content at weekly IP meetings

- Implementation and execution of monthly small-scale programs from inception to takedown, including advertising, marketing, and logistics

- Contributing to the monthly RISE IP Ambassadors Living Newsletter

- Marketing RISE Coaching for abroad students

- Other duties as assigned


 

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position would include the following:

- Being part of an International Program for the entirety of the 2026-2027 academic year (RISE is not looking for students who will be abroad for only one semester at this moment)

- Deep interest in resilience

- Excellent organizational/time management skills

- Willingness to learn and collaborate well with a team


Preferred qualifications would include:

- Familiarity with research, presentation development, public speaking, and coaching skills.        

- Familiarity with Google Suite (Drive, Forms, Sheets, etc.)



Pay Rate: $17.87 / per hour
