Clinical Counseling Intern (Graduate Program)
About the Role: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Graduate level Interns to join our clinical team. This internship offers a robust, hands-on experience for students pursuing careers in mental health, providing the opportunity to develop clinical skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Individual Counseling: Conduct one-on-one sessions with a diverse client population, utilizing evidence-based practices.
Group Facilitation: Plan and lead therapeutic or psychoeducational groups tailored to client needs.
Clinical Assessments: Perform initial intakes and ongoing mental health assessments to inform treatment planning.
Documentation: Maintain timely and accurate clinical notes and client records in compliance with ethical standards.
Supervision & Professional Development:
Clinical Supervision: Receive consistent, high-quality clinical supervision provided by a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Hours earned can be applied toward practicum or internship requirements for your degree program.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited Undergraduate (Psychology, Social Work, Human Services) or Graduate (Counseling, Clinical Psychology) program.
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to client confidentiality.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
