BCLA Internship Program - Entrepreneurial Development Assistant Intern

Entrepreneurial Development Assistant:  

Responsible for assisting in setting up business entities (LLCs, corporations, nonprofit, etc.), marketing plans, resource connections that assist our clients in creating their own business structures to grow their ideas through self-employment.   

 

Students will learn how to set up their own business entity and create a path towards business ownership. 

 

  • Position Title: Entrepreneurial Development Assistant Intern 
    Host Organization: View Park Wellness Collective, Inc. (VPWC) 
    Location: Fully in-person, On-site 
    Address: 3701 W 54th Street, Los Angeles 90043 
    Duration: 25 to 30 hours per week, 240 hours minimum 
  • Duration: (June 1 – August 7) Summer 2026   
  • Number of Positions: 1-2 Interns   
    Academic Level: BCLA current Junior, Senior or Masters (as of Fall 2026)
  • Compensation: [$4000 BCLA stipend, and/or course credit, as applicable] 

About the Opportunity 

The Entrepreneurial Development Assistant Intern will support initiatives that help autistic and neurodiverse adults explore entrepreneurship and self-employment. This role offers students an opportunity to learn about small business development while assisting clients in building the foundation for their own ventures. 

Interns will gain exposure to the early stages of business formation, including researching business structures, identifying community resources, and supporting the development of basic marketing strategies. 

What You Will Do 

  • Assist with research related to business formation, including LLCs, corporations, and nonprofit structures 
  • Help compile resources that support clients interested in launching small businesses or self-employment ventures 
  • Support the development of basic marketing plans and outreach strategies 
  • Help organize information and tools that guide clients through the early stages of business development 
  • Assist with connecting clients to community resources related to entrepreneurship and small business support 
  • Contribute to documentation and program materials that support entrepreneurial learning
