Mental Health Program Coordinator
Location: Garden City, NY | Schedule: Full Time, 35 hours per week| Status: Exempt |Salary: $66,300-66,500

This position requires a Master's Degree and Licensure in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Creative Arts Therapy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Community Mental Health & Wellness Division – CFTSS Program to ensure quality service delivery.
- Lead the hiring process by screening and interviewing candidates to build a strong, passionate team that supports children’s mental health.
- Oversee assignments and service capacity to ensure children and families receive the mental health services they need.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for your team.
- Track and monitor all data/information required by the state.
- Assist with state reports and audits.
- Monitor data, ensure compliance with state regulations, and work closely with external entities.
- Attend state meetings and collaborate with internal and external partners to improve access to care
Qualifications
- Passion for helping children & families
- Required: Master's Degree and Licensure required (LMSW, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Creative Arts Therapy)
- At least 2 years of experience post licensure in Human Services.
- Strong leadership & organizational skills
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & electronic health records.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean record required.
