Summer Music Studio Intern

Eastside Avenue Music Studio Internship 

This is a studio engineering/production part-time summer internship. The intern will assist and learn about working in an active music studio. The intern should have basic experience in music engineering and be able to use Protools and Ableton. 

Eastside Avenue Publishing is a small independent music publishing company in Nashville, TN, founded and led by songwriter/producer, Andrew DeRoberts. DeRoberts has had success in both the Pop and Country music scenes, writing and producing songs for artists such as Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Tate McRae, Alexandra Kay, Justin Timberlake, Brothers Osborne, Blake Shelton, Hudson Westbrook and more. 

INTERN TASKS

• Assist with daily recording sessions
• Help set up/take down the studio for sessions, keeping the equipment organized and well taken care of. 
• Run any errands needed during sessions
• Help with basic editing on various projects that come through the studio
• Handle and manage audio files and projects appropriately 
• Arrive before sessions begin and leave after they have finished 
• Have a strong-work ethic and positive attitude in the studio 

Please note the internship position is evolving and may include other duties not listed above.

• Dress is music business casual.
• Absences: Give proper notice of any absence (at least 24 hours, preferably) via email, phone call, or text.

This internship is unpaid, students must be able to receive academic credit for the internship. The internship will run from June 1- August 4th 2026.
