Position Summary
Dialight is seeking an IT Intern for an immersive development program designed for graduate-level students or recent graduates. This role offers hands-on experience supporting IT and cybersecurity initiatives within a global enterprise environment. High-performing interns will be evaluated for full-time employment upon program completion.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Project management support (Meeting co-ordination, project documentation, project time-line tracking and stakeholder communication)
- Contribute to cybersecurity, including:
- Phishing simulations
- Policy, standard and SOP development
- Vendor co-ordination and communication
- Support system upgrades, integrations, and technology modernization projects
- Analyze business, IT and manufacturing workflows to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system diagrams
- Collaborate with global IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, or a related field
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking fundamentals, and enterprise IT concepts
- Demonstrated interest in manufacturing systems, ERP platforms, and cybersecurity
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose practical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or academic exposure to Infor ERP, AS400/iSeries, or other manufacturing ERP systems
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, controls, or tools (e.g., IAM, vulnerability management, SIEM concepts)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD, or ticketing systems
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (production, inventory, supply chain)
- Internship, co-op, research, or project experience in IT, manufacturing systems, or cybersecurity
