Position Summary:
Student Worker provides support to the Office of University Outreach. This role is ideal for a dependable, proactive student who enjoys working with others and contributing to a positive campus experience for our camps and youth programs.
This person must be available for summer work as this is when we have the majority of our camps and youth programs.
Estimated 10-15 hours a week during the semester and 20-25 hours a week during summer months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with camps and youth events/programs
- Must be comfortable working with children.
- Support daily office operations, including organizing materials, data entry, and general administrative tasks
- Create and assist with social media content to promote programs and events
- Help design or contribute to advertising materials such as flyers, digital graphics, and announcements
- Help monitor activities and ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment
- Engage with event participants in a professional and friendly manner
- Follow directions from supervisors and work both independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a strong work ethic and positive attitude while on duty
