LAURA INGALLS WILDER MUSEUM SEEKING EMPLOYEES

 

Are you passionate about Pepin, history, culture, museums & ready to interact with people from around the world?  Well, The Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum & Gift Shop is the perfect place for you!

We are seeking employees to work in the museum's gift shop beginning May through October 2026.

Job Description: Employees must be self-motivated and willing to engage customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. Employees accept admission fees and merchandise purchases through our user-friendly, SQUARE, point-of-sale platform. At the end of the workday, the employee is asked to reconcile the cash drawer, restock merchandise, vacuum, clean as needed to make the property look presentable for the next day.

Compensation: Hourly, part-time paid position.

Hours: 9:45am-5:30pm-ish.  Museum Hours: 10AM-5PM
