NJ Career Accelerator Internships

The Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (OSHE) is pleased to share the open opportunities that are being funded through NJ Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program for the summer of 2026. 

This grant program provides funding to New Jersey employers who are interested in hosting part-time undergraduate and graduate interns from New Jersey for Summer 2026 (June through August). 

Employers from all over NJ have been chosen to receive the grant and NJ OSHE is publicizing these paid internship opportunities to current undergraduate students at institutions of higher education in NJ. There are currently 124 employers seeking interns for these paid experiences all over the State of NJ.

The opportunities are across industry. You can find a comprehensive list of all funded opportunities broken down by industry on OSHE's website.  

HOW TO APPLY:

The qualifications for these roles vary and there is at least one which every student’s skillset can align with. Here is the link to the various internships categorized by field: all available opportunities will be posted at Office of the Secretary of Higher Education (state.nj.us)
