Full-Time High School World Language Teacher of Spanish
Location: Burlington County Alternative High School

Position Summary:

Burlington County Alternative School is seeking an experienced and dedicated High School World Language Teacher of Spanish for an immediate full-time opening. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional practices, the ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles, and a commitment to supporting at-risk students in a nontraditional educational setting. A background in reading is preferred but not required. Candidates must be willing to participate in outdoor adventure programming, including overnight camping experiences.

Qualifications:

Appropriate NJDOE World Language/Spanish Certification (required)

Experience teaching Spanish at the high school level (preferred)

Strong instructional skills with the ability to modify content to meet individual learning needs

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Willingness to work in a variety of instructional settings, including outdoor environments

Strong organizational and computer skills

Salary Range: $64,064 – $82,487

Additional Information:

Required criminal history background check
