IT & Information Security Intern
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Summer Intern to support both IT Administration and Information Security functions. This role offers exposure to core IT operations, cybersecurity practices, and regulatory compliance within a Corporate banking setting.
Key Responsibilities
IT Administration:
- Assist with user account setup, access management, and system provisioning
- Provide support for hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
- Help maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
- Support system updates, patch management, and routine maintenance
- Assist with help desk tickets and end-user support
Information Security:
- Support monitoring of security alerts and incident response activities
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking
- Help review access controls and user permissions
- Participate in security awareness initiatives and training efforts
- Assist with compliance documentation (e.g., internal policies, audit support)
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity principles
- Familiarity with security concepts such as firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, or identity and access management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
