Aquatics Director
Overview:
This position is dedicated to the Waterpark and Lakefront operation of Quassy Amusement and Waterpark. You will train, cultivate, and maintain a seasonal staff. You will also be in charge of customer relations and daily operations and assisting in First Aid. Pay can be scaled up based on experience, certifications, and availability. We are also open to training and certifying you as necessary!
Responsibilities:
· Lifeguards and Waterpark Staff: Training, maintaining, and coordinating our staff of certified lifeguards and beach attendants daily.
· Park First Aid: You would be responsible for basic first aid and running our first aid station. This will include the proper documentation of all services rendered to our guests, Training of the certified lifeguards on what forms should be filled out and, who to contact if a situation needs additional EMS support.
· Scheduling: The Beach & Waterpark Manager is responsible for the proper staffing of each attraction and the lakefront area. This includes the proper rotation of Lifeguards through the beach, First Aid Room, and the Waterpark.
· Customer Service: The Beach & Waterpark Manager will act as a representative of Quassy and provide the highest quality of customer service their training will allow. This includes, but is not limited to, friendly interactions with all guests, clearly and politely answering all questions posed by guests, and offering further assistance with any guest need without going outside company policy.
· Team Atmosphere: You must provide the framework and implementation of an exciting, rewarding, and ethical work environment for your team.
Work Environment:
You must be able to operate in an outdoor environment including varying conditions from hot to cold, rain to sunshine, and working daytime hours or night shifts. You must also be prepared to work with multitudes of people every day while maintaining a professional and polite demeanor.
