Construction Management Intern

Job Title: Construction Management Intern

Employment Type: Paid Internship 

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Construction Management Intern to support our project management team on active construction projects. This internship offers hands-on exposure to project coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and field operations.

The intern will work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to gain practical experience in construction project delivery.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist project managers with project documentation and coordination
  • Support schedule tracking and updates
  • Help monitor construction progress and field reports
  • Assist with RFIs, submittals, and change order tracking
  • Participate in site visits and progress meetings
  • Support budget tracking and cost control
  • Maintain organized project records and reports
  • Assist with communication between project teams and subcontractors
  • Assist in data migration to new project management software

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in the construction industry
  • Basic understanding of construction documents and project scheduling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Computer Savvy & familiar with construction management software
