JOB SUMMARY:
The Family Resource Networking is seeking a qualified Development/Fundraising Intern to join our Development team. This position is a hands-on opportunity to gain real world non-profit experience while working closely with the Special Events Manager and other team members. This is a remote role with required in-office and community presence based on event calendar.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Support planning and execution of 2026 special events (listed below)
Help secure event sponsorships and donations
Research potential sponsors and assist with grant applications
Draft donor acknowledgement and thank you letters
Provide day-of-event support and assist with fundraising projects
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
We want bright, motivated Accounting or Finance majors who are eager to learn and ready to work hard. Solid analytical skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and creativity are essential to success. Microsoft Excel competence is required.
Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university
Accounting or Finance majors preferred
Strong research, communication, and organizational skills
Detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
