Physical Therapist
We are looking for a motivated, committed physical therapist to join our team at Align Therapy. We are a spine specialty clinic treating scoliosis and spinal deformity, as well as TMJ. We are looking for someone who shares our passion in treating spine patients alongside our commitment to provide true one on one care to get better outcomes. Training in scoliosis specific treatment with The Schroth Method will be provided if not already certified. Experience with manual therapy and orthopedics is preferred.
At Align Therapy we focus on providing one on one treatment, with no reliance on aides, to achieve superior outcomes with spinal deformity patients, as well as our TMJ patients. Treatment times per patient are typically 60 minutes per patient.
Responsibilities
- Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
- Communicate with physicians and other providers as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop care plans using research backed techniques.
- Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients to be consistent with their plan of care
- Maintain a full schedule and avoid drop offs.
Skills
- Proven work experience as a physical therapist
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Orthopedic skills
- Desire for continuing education
- Professionalism when contacting other professionals
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid licence to practice physical therapy
- MPT or DPT
