About Us:
Synchrogistics (“Synchro”) is a dynamic, $100 million 3PL brokerage headquartered in Raleigh, NC. We specialize in executing reliable, customer-focused transportation solutions through strong carrier relationships, clear communication, and data-driven decision making.
We’re opening a new brokerage office in Wendell, NC, and we’re looking for driven, entry-level professionals to help us build it from the ground up.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join a new brokerage team at the ground level and grow with us. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll start by learning the logistics business from the inside out – working closely with an experienced sales executive and your team to understand how freight moves, how relationships are built, and how deals get done.
Over your first 3-6 months, you’ll rotate through hands-on brokerage functions:
- Supporting your sales executive with freight pickups, deliveries, and problem resolution for daily shipments
- Building and managing loads in our Transportation Management System (TMS) while maintaining accurate documentation
- Learning how to source, negotiate, and develop long-term carrier relationships
Once you’ve mastered the operational side, you’ll transition into a sales and brokerage role – developing your own customers, negotiating rates, and growing your book of business under the guidance of a seasoned mentor.
What We’re Looking For:
- HS Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Full-time, on-site availability in Wendell, NC
- High energy, competitive drive, and a passion for learning
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle conflict
- Team-oriented attitude and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
