Location: San Antonio, TX (near the Pearl off Broadway)
Duration: Paid Summer/Fall Internship 2026 — $15/hour
Convenient Access: Close to Incarnate Word University, Trinity University, and UTSA Downtown Campus.
Overview
Join 791 Purchasing Cooperative, a national leader in the State, Local Education, and Government (SLED) market, for a hands-on internship experience in B2B contracting
and business-to-government sales.
As an intern, you’ll gain exposure to:
-Large-scale, high-value contract sales processes
-Contract review and negotiation
-Responding to RFPs and RFQs
-Coordinating across multiple departments
-Leveraging tools like CRM systems, bidding software, and Adobe Sign for contract creation and execution
This internship is designed to give you real-world skills while contributing to meaningful projects in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
-Support the B2B contracting team with projects and deliverables
-Participate in the B2B marketplace
-Conduct outreach to K–12 and local government markets via phone and email
-Provide administrative support, including research, correspondence, and event coordination
Education & Experience
Open to Juniors, Seniors, and MBA students majoring in Business, Marketing and Communications
Strong interest in business-to-business sales and marketing, and government contracting
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
-Basic understanding of contracting and legal issues
-Problem-solving and analytical skills
-Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
-Solid time management and organizational skills
