Title: Medical/Behavioral Paraprofessional - Student Resource
Location: Later Elementary (Grades 3-5)
Reports to: Later Elementary Principal
Job Type: Full-Time / Hourly / Non-Exempt
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree
- Completed ETS Parapro Assessment with a passing score of 460 or higher
- CPI Certification (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (preferred)
Job Description:
- Supervise and support students assigned to the Student Resource Center for behavioral or academic intervention.
- Reinforce school-wide behavior expectations and restorative practices.
- Implement behavior plans under the direction of school administration or student support teams.
- Support safe and orderly lunch and recess environments through active monitoring.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student behavior incidents, interventions, and progress as assigned.
- Accurately document student behavior, interventions, and parent contact in the school's student information system.
Other Duties as assigned by the school administrator.
Salary/Benefits: Starting at $17.57/hour; per the PPESPA Agreement under the paraprofessional classification
Days/Hours: School Days/8:15 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
