The HR Intern supports the Human Resources team across key areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, HR operations, employee engagement, and compliance. This role provides hands‑on exposure to HR processes, including Workday HCM implementation activities and benefits program analysis. The intern will work closely with HR team members to assist with daily operations and contribute to ongoing HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Post job openings and support candidate sourcing.
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and assist with candidate communications.
  • Coordinate hiring logistics.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Prepare onboarding materials and support orientation activities.
  • Ensure completion of required new hire documentation.
  • Assist with offboarding tasks, including exit surveys and file updates.
  • Assist with temporary employee conversions. 

HR Operations & Workday HCM Support

  • Maintain compliant employee files and support HR data entry for ADP and Workday.
  • Assist with HR reporting and metric tracking (e.g., turnover, time‑to‑fill).
  • Support the Workday HCM implementation through data validation, testing, documentation updates, and user support tasks.
  • Organize HR templates, policies, and process documents.

Benefits & Total Rewards Support

  • Assist with benefits program analysis and benchmarking.
  • Support communication efforts related to benefits and wellness programs.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Assist with planning employee events and recognition initiatives.
  • Support internal communications with a local and global focus.
  • Collect and compile employee feedback.

Compliance & Learning

  • Track training completion and support compliance documentation.
  • Conduct research on HR policies, labor requirements, and best practices.
  • Assist with audits and process improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Education

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Team‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with HR concepts is a plus.
