IOP/PHP Therapist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Therapist to join our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Framingham, MA. The Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients struggling with mental health and/or substance use challenges. This role focuses on helping clients develop coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and support long-term recovery in a structured therapeutic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients enrolled in the IOP/PHP program

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments

Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups focused on mental health, coping skills, and recovery

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and program policies

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team including psychiatrists, nurses, and case managers

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed

Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations

Communicate with parents/guardians to support family involvement in treatment

 

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field

Active Massachusetts license or license-eligible (LICSW, LCSW , LMHC, or equivalent)

Experience working with adults in a mental health or substance use treatment setting preferred

Experience facilitating group therapy strongly preferred

Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based treatment environment
