Are you an aspiring producer, writer, or content creator? Curious how independent filmmakers find financing? Academy Award-nominated director/producer Matia Karrell's production company, The Red Door Films, is building a savvy team of interns for the spring and summer to assist producer Hilary Prentice on the documentary, Coming Home: Fight for a Legacy, one of the last untold stories of WWII, about our first female military aviators who were key to the Allies' success, but who most Americans have never heard of and who have yet to be included in mainstream narratives about WWII.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule social media content
  • Research influencers
  • Write engaging social media posts
  • Create newsletters
  • Create videos for TikTok, YouTube, & Instagram Reels
  • Track donors

This is an unpaid remote internship for school credit. Hours are flexible, but looking for a minimum commitment of 10+ hours/week. The start dates are flexible, but interns are expected to begin work as soon as possible, starting with training with the current team of interns.
