Community Outreach Center – GA

For this position we are seeking a Graduate Assistant with great interpersonal skills, organizational skills, an effective 

communicator and the ability to prioritize tasks in order to effectively get things done. Prior experience working with 

undergraduate students ever at a peer level is ideal. This Graduate Assistant will spend some time assisting with fundraising 

ideas and programming efforts to support marginalized groups on our campus and other specific populations and interest 

groups. This Graduate Assistant oversees the efforts in place to work with student program coordinators for the following 

areas- KU Votes Ambassadors, our Social Media student, and the Big Brothers Big sisters program- a partnership we have 

with the big brothers and big sisters of berks county. This GA will also assist with planning, recruiting and attend our annual 

alternative spring break trip.

This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester.  Please contact Amanda Garcia for additional information if needed at agarcia@kutztown.edu.
