Behavioral Health Technician

Job Description:

Hallmark Youthcare is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technicians to provide direct care to adolescents ages 11–17 in a psychiatric residential treatment setting. This role is essential in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support adolescents in daily activities and routines
• Promote positive behavior and appropriate coping skills
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• Accurately document behaviors and incidents
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and education teams

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required 
• Experience working with youth or in behavioral health preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
• Must pass background check and drug screening
