Broadridge is seeking high-potential students to join our Summer Internship Program, a ten-week experience beginning in June 2026, designed to provide you with experience in the Financial Technology (FinTech) sector. At Broadridge, collaboration and innovation define our culture. As a Quantitative Research Intern you will contribute to the modeling and development of trading algorithms for futures and equities markets, working alongside experienced quantitative research and product management professionals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of quantitative models for trade execution operations research in futures and equities markets;
  • Apply mathematical and statistical methods to analyze market microstructure, order flow, and execution quality;
  • Develop and back-test algorithmic strategies using historical market data;
  • Contribute to research documentation and translate model outputs into actionable product insights.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or 4 + 1 MBA degree with a graduation date of December 2026 through Spring 2027 
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Statistics or similar field.
  • Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, stochastic processes, or operations research;
  • Proficiency in Python or a similar scientific computing language;
  • Background in machine learning, statistical modeling, or data science is a plus;
  • Familiarity with financial markets or execution algorithms is a plus.
