Youth Services Intern
This internship focuses on supporting library services for children while gaining experience in youth programming and community engagement.
Assist with youth programming and library events designed for children and families.

Digital Services Intern
This internship is based at the Vintage Media Lab (VML) at the Palo Alto City Library, with expanded services launching at the Rinconada Branch Library. The VML provides media digitization services for community members and supports innovative, technology-focused learning experiences. This intern will also assist with the relaunch of the FarmBot robotic farming system, supporting hands-on technical work, documentation improvements, and community-centered technology engagement.
- Assist with developing and supporting robotic technology (FarmBot) for community education and engagement.
- Support patrons using media conversion tools (e.g., digitizing VHS tapes, photos, and other traditional media).
- Help develop digital literacy initiatives and support services for adult learners.
- Gain hands-on experience with emerging technologies in a public library setting.
- Prior experience with instructional design, robotics, or digital literacy for adults is a plus.
