Associate Photographer and/or Videographer

Weaver Films + Photography is currently looking to expand our team with associate photographers and videographers who have a passion for visual storytelling and an interest in the wedding industry.

This opportunity is primarily focused on wedding photography and videography, with occasional opportunities to assist with commercial brand projects.

We are open to different experience levels - whether you are looking to gain experience in the wedding industry through an internship or you are an experienced wedding professional interested in associate shooting as a contractor.

What We’re Looking For

• Comfortable operating a DSLR or mirrorless camera
• Basic understanding of camera settings, exposure, and composition
• Interest in weddings, storytelling, and event coverage
• Professional, reliable, and able to work well with a team
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
• Ability to stay calm and adaptable in a fast-paced event environment
• Must have your own transportation
• No editing skills required 

Experience

• All experience levels are welcome to apply
• Those with wedding photography or videography experience may be considered for associate subcontractor positions
• Those newer to the industry who want to learn and gain hands-on experience may be considered for internship opportunities

Work Type

• Primarily weddings
• Occasional commercial and brand content shoots
• Most work will be on weekends during wedding season
• Shooting video and photo content
• Handling camera gear
