Student Services Assistant
The Student Services Assistant serves as receptionist, clerical, and secretarial support for the Counseling Services.
Salary Schedule: Appropriate placement on Salary Schedule E5 06 $28,836 $46,327 based on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serve as receptionist for the Counseling Services offices and staff persons
- Provide clerical and programmatic support for the Counseling Services Division
- Screen visitors, assist with acquisition of services/preliminary tasks and maintain logs
- Provide secretarial support for special programs as needed
- Perform general secretarial duties throughout the Counseling Services division as requested
- Receive and distribute correspondence
- Maintain an inventory of office supplies, forms, equipment, etc., and prepare requisitions as needed
- Use a variety of software and equipment to prepare reports, letters, memoranda and other materials related to the operations/services throughout Counseling Services
- Maintain and safeguard documents, general files, and other pertinent information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of recent experience working in a fast-paced office setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
