Camp AGQ Arts and Crafts Specialist

Position Title: Arts & Crafts Specialist 

Overview:

Responsible for creating and implementing arts and crafts curriculum each week and overseeing the arts and crafts building and supplies.

Expectations:

• Design and lead arts & crafts curriculum for four activity hours each day.
• Create unique themes and execute specific plans for all activity hours each week that develop campers’ art and craft-making skills and interests.
• Open up the A&C building at the beginning of the summer and close it down at the end of the summer.
• Maintain the A&C building, porch, and equipment in good repair.
• Keep detailed track of supply inventory; maintain any necessary supplies; submit supply requests to the Director of Camper Experience as needed.
• Facilitate the camper sign-up process for your activity hours.
• Take attendance at the beginning of each activity hour; communicate with the Business Administrator in a timely manner if any campers are missing.
• Train and mentor support staff so that they can lead planned activities in your absence.
• Also work as a cabin counselor (see linked description)
