PROPOSAL COORDINATOR

you’ll collaborate with leaders and technical teams to develop winning proposals and interview presentations for pursuits - guiding the process from pursuit intake to final client decision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Proposal & Pursuit Support

  • Lead the coordination of proposals responding to RFQs, and RFPs.
  • Assist with all phases of the pursuit process—from strategy sessions to interview preparation.
  • Partner with internal teams and external consultants to create pursuit-related deliverables.

Content & Design

  • Translate pursuit strategies into compelling written and visual materials.
  • Develop brochures, presentations, and proposals that align with Huseman Group’s brand standards.
  • Collaborate with Operations and technical experts to develop and refine technical content.

Interview & Presentation Support

  • Organize and prepare teams for project interviews and client presentations.
  • Ensure materials are polished, cohesive, and strategically tailored to each opportunity.

Research & Process Development

  • Conduct research to strengthen proposals and pursuit strategies.
  • Help identify ways to continuously improve.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience in proposal development or marketing communications may also be considered.
  • 1-3 years of experience in proposals, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
  • Experience in the A/E/C industry (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft OJice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong writing and editing abilities, with a knack for simplifying technical information.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
