Position: Part-Time Code Sensei
Duration: Summer Session
Location: Code Ninjas
Job Description:
We are looking for Code Senseis to join our team of dynamic, energetic,
forward-thinkers, all with the goal of providing a FUN, engaging, and safe
learning environment for children. Our senseis are the core of our center,
overseeing coaching and student engagement in our coding programs,
partnerships, camps, and special events. Are you passionate about video
games & tech? Do you enjoy working with kids? Are you looking to build
invaluable skills for the future? This could be the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully progress through the curriculum and master the concepts
- Create a positive, energetic, and safe environment in which students are excited to learn and interact
- Work with children to determine skill sets
- Evaluate students’ work and provide feedback to both students and parents
- Follow daily opening/closing duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the dojo up to corporate standards
- Report to management with respect to daily activities and productivity in the dojo
Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to quickly pick up new concepts (Unity knowledge is an asset!)
- Upbeat and eager to take on new challenges and work in a collaborative group setting
- Excellent communication skills and experience in customer service
