Supplemental Instruction Leader
The Academic Success Center is currently hiring Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders for the Summer and Fall 2026 semesters. We are seeking undergraduate students that successfully completed one of the following courses at OU: ACC 2100, BIO 1200, BIO 2100, CHM 1040, CHM 2010, CHM 2340, CHM 2350, MTH 1221, MTH 1441, MTH 1554 and MUS 1212. Summer opening is for CHM 2350 SI only.
Summary:
Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders are responsible for preparing and conducting organized, regularly scheduled group study sessions. SI Leaders attend the professor's lecture and provide course-specific practice materials and test preparation based on the professor’s lecture and students’ needs.
Qualifications:
- Must be a currently enrolled OU student in a degree seeking program
- Undergraduate OU student, second semester freshman standing or higher
- Minimum 3.7 GPA (A-) in the course(s) you want to lead
- Minimum 3.0 GPA overall
- Expertise in the course content area
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Must be a positive role model and empathetic towards people
- Must be recommended by one OU faculty member in the subject area of the SI

Other Expectations:
- Participate in mandatory training prior to the start of the semester. SI begins on the first day of class.
- Attend 4 hours of professional development during the semester.
