myON Summer Street Team Member

As a myON Street Team Ambassador, you will visit a variety of community locations—including schools, preschool programs, family resource centers, libraries, and summer learning sites—to introduce and promote myON, a student‑centered digital library and personalized reading platform available to all students in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. In this outreach role, you will engage with students, families, educators, and community members to build awareness of myON and encourage summer reading participation. 

Your Role 

• You serve as an enthusiastic presenter and advocate for myON by: 
• Presenting to students, families, staff, and school communities. 
• Demonstrating how to access and use the myON digital library. 
• Promoting myON as a summer reading tool that helps prevent learning loss and builds reading momentum. 
• Highlighting myON features, reading challenges, and districtwide access. 
• Encouraging students to explore books they love and build consistent reading habits. 
• Serving as a reminder and motivator to use the platform throughout the summer. 
• Participating in daily travel to schools, events, and community sites. 

Qualifications 

• Must be a current high school senior or an adult (18+)  
• Must have reliable transportation for daily travel. 
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with district requirements. 
• Comfortable speaking to groups of students, families, and school staff. 
• Positive, energetic, and passionate about promoting literacy. 
• Able to work independently and represent myON professionally.
