To support that growth, we need a talent engine that is structured, scalable, and built for high‑volume, high‑impact recruiting. Talent acquisition here isn’t administrative — it’s a strategic system that fuels every department and every creator‑focused initiative.
The Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development Strategist Internship is designed for individuals who want to build the infrastructure behind a modern media workforce. You’ll design recruiting funnels, build CRM‑based workflows, support university and veteran pipelines, and create onboarding systems that prepare interns, apprentices, and early‑career talent for success. Your work directly strengthens the Sports Media talent ecosystem and ensures our teams have the people they need to grow.
This internship is available through SkillBridge, apprenticeship pathways, and civilian internship tracks.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting Funnel Design & CRM Workflow Management
- Build and optimize multi‑stage recruiting funnels for interns, apprentices, and early‑career roles
- Create automated workflows inside the Sports Media CRM and talent systems
- Develop structured follow‑up sequences to maintain candidate engagement
- Implement lead scoring, candidate tracking, and pipeline visibility tools
- Reduce manual workload through automation and standardized processes
Structured Onboarding Systems
- Develop standardized onboarding sequences for each department
- Align onboarding content with existing SOPs and training frameworks
- Build 30‑60‑90 day performance pathways with measurable milestones
- Create dashboards to track progress, engagement, and readiness
- Ensure accountability systems are in place from day one
Role‑Specific Job Architecture
- Draft job descriptions aligned with real workflows and expectations
- Define KPIs and measurable outcomes for each role
- Collaborate with department leads to refine position requirements
- Ensure postings are accurate, accessible, and aligned with our mission
University, Veteran & SkillBridge Pipeline Management
- Build partnerships with universities, career centers, and academic programs
- Support outreach systems for veteran and transitioning military talent
- Coordinate SkillBridge documentation, placement workflows, and compliance
- Develop structured internship and apprenticeship pathways across departments
- Maintain engagement systems that support long‑term retention
Recruiting Metrics & Workforce Analytics
- Track cost per hire, conversion rates, and onboarding completion
- Build dashboards to monitor retention indicators and workforce health
- Analyze pipeline performance to identify bottlenecks
- Present workforce insights to leadership
Requirements
- Interest in HR, workforce strategy, operations, or recruiting systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Comfort working in CRM platforms and workflow automation tools
- Ability to manage structured processes with attention to detail
- Interest in building scalable systems rather than one‑off hiring efforts
- Availability for virtual meetings:
- Mondays @ 9:00 AM MST
- Wednesdays @ 10:00 AM MST
- Fridays @ 8:00 AM MST
- Self‑motivated, reliable, and committed to building high‑performance teams
