Social Media Intern

William is an AI-powered emotional wellness companion that helps people build better mental health habits through daily check-ins, guided therapeutic paths, and proactive support. We are pre-launch and building the community that will fuel our initial user growth. As our Social Media Marketing Intern, you will be one of the first voices of William in the world — creating content, growing our audience, and turning followers into early adopters.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Create and publish daily content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X that reflects the William brand voice.
  • Write short-form copy — captions, hooks, scripts, and story prompts — that drives engagement and shares.
  • Produce or coordinate video content including Reels and TikToks focused on mental wellness, habit building, and AI.
  • Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement rate, follower growth, saves, shares) and report weekly.
  • Engage with comments, DMs, and community members to build relationships and drive word-of-mouth.
  • Research trending wellness, mental health, and AI content to keep William's feed timely and relevant.
  • Assist with influencer outreach and coordination for pre-launch campaigns.
  • Help plan and execute a pre-launch waitlist campaign to build early user demand.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • You are active on at least two major platforms and understand what makes content go viral.
  • You have a portfolio of content you've created — even for personal accounts.
  • You write clearly, quickly, and in a tone that is warm, smart, and approachable.
  • You are comfortable in front of a camera or skilled at directing others.
  • You care about mental health, wellness, or personal development — this isn't just a job to you.
  • You are self-directed and can execute independently without heavy oversight.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience running ads on Meta, TikTok, or Google.
  • Familiarity with social analytics tools like Later, Sprout Social, or native platform insights.
  • Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
  • An existing audience or personal brand in wellness, productivity, or tech.

  WHAT YOU GET

  • A front-row seat at an AI startup building one of the most human products in the space.
  • Real ownership — your content will directly drive downloads and user growth from day one.
  • A portfolio you can point to: a launched app, a real campaign, and measurable results.
  • Direct mentorship from the founding team, including a Forbes and Time-recognized entrepreneur.
  • Flexible hours and a remote-first environment.
  • Letter of recommendation and potential full-time offer for standout interns.
