Job Description:
We are seeking a PhD candidate (3rd year or above), PhD, or postdoc in Marine Biology to mentor a 10th grade high school student on an independent research paper.

The project must be feasible for a high school student and should not require lab or field experiments. The final outcome is a completed research paper.

Remote

Evenings or weekends only

24 total hours

$150/hour

Total compensation: $3,600

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong background in marine biology

Strong academic writing and research skills

Prior mentoring, tutoring, or teaching experience preferred

Able to guide a high school student in a clear, supportive way
