Role Description:
This is a full-time in-office role for an Associate Civil Engineer. As an Associate Civil Engineer at CDR, you will be responsible for preparing plans under the guidance of a Project Manager. You will work closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Research, interpret and apply city standards, codes and zoning requirements as it applies to sites
- Prepare title sheets, erosion control plan, survey, site improvement plan and fire master plan under the direction of a project manager
- Communicate with agencies and plan checkers
- Prepare comment response letters
- Fulfill project deadlines with a sense of urgency
- Maintain a strong willingness to continually learn and grow
- Adhere to CDR standard and core values
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- E.I.T license acquired or in progress
- Previous internship experience in land development preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Willingness to take ownership of projects and follow-through with urgency
