Summer Intern – Business Administration (Manufacturing & Distribution)

Location: Havre de Grace, Maryland - On-site

Duration: May–August 2026 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Compensation: Paid Internship - $20.00/hr

About the Internship

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Administration Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting operations in a manufacturing and distribution environment. This internship offers exposure to real-world business processes including operations support, data reporting, and cross-department coordination.

The intern will work closely with operational and administrative teams to support business activities that drive manufacturing efficiency and distribution performance. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and contributing to a fast-paced operational environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with operational and administrative tasks supporting manufacturing and distribution activities
  • Support data tracking, reporting, and analysis using Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and company specific databases
  • Help maintain operational records, documentation, and reporting dashboards
  • Assist with setting up inventory tracking system
  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and presentations for leadership review
  • Assist with Human Resource functions including but not limited to development of leadership/management trainings and recruitment.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical files and documentation
  • Participate in special projects that support business operations and process improvement

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a major or minor in Business Administration or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.  Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution environments
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute
