Contracts Management Intern

We are currently seeking a Contracts Management Intern to support our Legal team in Middlefield, CT.
In this role, you will assist with a critical compliance and data‑management initiative, gaining hands‑on experience in contracts, policy development, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Project:
- Assist in the development of a Customer and Supplier Certification & Survey Response Policy
- Support related procedures and create an organized archive for key data and documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Support policy and procedure development within the Legal function
- Organize, structure, and maintain contract‑related data and records
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to gather and validate information
- Apply strong attention to detail in reviewing and managing documentation
- Work independently while communicating progress effectively
Preferred Majors / Coursework
- Business
- Business Administration or Management
- Legal or Paralegal Studies
- Public Administration or Public Policy
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, Excel, OneDrive, or other data‑management platforms is a plus
- NCMA coursework/certification or exposure to FAR/DFARS regulations is a plus
Eligibility Requirements
- Must have completed at least the junior (3rd) year of an undergraduate degree
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- This position may involve access to ITAR‑controlled materials; candidates must meet applicable eligibility requirements
