Music Teacher

Mindful Music Center is looking for passionate, patient, and creative music teachers to join our supportive team.
We’re growing and excited to welcome teachers who specialize in ukulele, guitar, piano, and/or voice. If you can teach more than one instrument, amazing — but we’re also open to hiring multiple teachers who each bring their own expertise.
About the Role
Part-time position
Tuesday/Thursday afternoon/evening availability
Additional flexible afternoon hours available (M–F)
Individual and group classes, ages 6 and up
Curriculum provided for group piano (Piano Express), with training included
Flexibility for teachers to use their own methods in other classes
Who We’re Looking For
Minimum 10+ years of playing experience on your instrument(s)
At least 2 years of teaching experience
Degree in music is preferred, but not required
Professional-level musicianship (unless working only with beginners)
Experience teaching neurodivergent students is preferred
Must complete a background check
Teachers who are patient, reliable, creative, and genuinely enjoy connecting with kids
Pay & Perks
Independent contractor position, paid per lesson
Pay range: $25/30-min group class up to $44/hour for individual lessons
