Internship Opportunities – Summer 2026

Looking for a meaningful way to kick off your career this summer? The Arc of Essex County is welcoming current college students (or recent college grads) for paid internships supporting people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD). You’ll gain hands-on experience, meet a great team, and finish the summer with strong, resume-ready skills.

Business Operations Intern (HR & Finance)

· When: Jun 1, 2026 – Aug 7, 2026 (20 hours/week)

· You’ll help with: Hands-on projects across HR and Finance—job description updates, recruiting coordination, vendor/contract organization, and basic finance operations.

· Good fit if you’re: A current college student or recent grad in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field.

· You’ll build: Communication and project skills, comfort working with confidential info, gain stronger Excel/Office skills—plus a behind-the-scenes look at how a mission-driven nonprofit runs.
