Our vision is to be the leading engineering company creating construction documentation for projects located primarily in California and Hawaii. Our staff has a global presence and we have done projects in Europe, Asia, and across the USA; however, bigger isn't always better so we extend beyond California and Hawaii only when our clients take us there.
Our primary clients are design-build contracting firms who either do not have engineering expertise or have an overflow of engineering work. We strive to grow into serving architectural firms and directly to owners once our electrical division is established because we will then be able to offer coordinated designs saving on installation costs and schedules. “Lean engineering for lean construction” is the tag line of our company.
For us, constructability is second nature and our approach to design reflects our commitment to creating profitable projects for our clients. An entrepreneurial spirit drives us and we challenge ourselves with each and project to design a better-performing building without issues where installation contractors must stop and question how something will work or fit.
Junior Electrical Engineer
Job Description:
- Perform basic electrical calculations and design tasks under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Assist in the development of electrical system designs, including equipment selection and layout.
- Develop construction documents and specifications.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project integration.
- Participate in project meetings and client interactions.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Pursue professional licensure (e.g., EIT) and gain knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working for an engineering consultant.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
