Job Description
As an AI Research Intern, you will explore and develop agentic AI use cases for real estate and tenant management platforms, focusing on improving the experience of property managers, landlords, and tenants. Your work will support the development of intelligent features such as automated tenant support, lease analysis, predictive maintenance insights, and operational workflow automation.
In this role, you will research, prototype, and help implement AI-driven solutions that enhance property management efficiency, tenant engagement, and data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with the Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams to bring innovative AI-powered features into a modern real estate technology platform.
This role reports to the Head of AI/ML and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of property management through advanced artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Research Agentic AI Use Cases: Identify and evaluate opportunities where AI agents can improve real estate operations, tenant communication, lease management, and maintenance workflows.
Prototype AI-Powered Features: Design and develop working prototypes using Large Language Models (LLMs) and other machine learning techniques to support property managers and tenants.
Enhance Tenant Experience: Build intelligent systems capable of handling tenant inquiries, lease information retrieval, service requests, and communication automation.
Lease & Document Intelligence: Develop models that can analyze leases, rental agreements, and property documentation to extract insights and automate workflows.
Predictive Property Operations: Explore AI-driven solutions for maintenance prediction, occupancy analytics, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to translate research into scalable product features.
Deliver Business Impact: Contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual workload for property managers, and enhance tenant satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree
- You are a current student or recent graduate expected to graduate Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Physics, or a related technical field.
