Associate, Evergreen

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:

The Evergreen Fenway team is committed to creating memories for guests who are here for unique non-baseball experiences. We focus on both private and ticketed live events. POSITION OVERVIEW:

Serving as a member of the Evergreen team, this individual will perform a wide variety of tasks and several key responsibilities that support the day-to-day business, aiding in the successful planning and, ultimately, execution of contracted events. This role will also consist of administrative responsibilities and provide miscellaneous assistance to various team members on a one-off and/or project-driven basis.

 

The hourly rate for this role is $20.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Associate will develop skills and responsibilities, including understanding, building, and executing strategic planning processes, and guiding events from ideation through execution. This role will involve consistent collaboration with both external vendors and partners, as well as internal operating departments.
  • Work closely with event partners to plan all details leading up to events, including but not limited to operations, logistics, ticketing, marketing, hospitality and budgeting (creation and management), etc.
  • Overall management of annual events to potentially include Movie Night(s), college baseball, flag football, etc. Specific event responsibilities to include:
  • o   2026 Movie Night – Serve as the event lead, which entails overall leadership of all event-related logistics and planning.
  • o   2026 High School Football – Serve as event leader for two of the four high school football matchups
  • o   2026 Wasabi Fenway Bowl - Oversee various processes, including event credentialing, and supporting efforts to include game presentation logistics, Honor Roll Program implementation and execution and sponsorship.   
  • Assist in the ideation of new events to include brainstorming, supporting research and potential outreach to prospective event partners.
  • Assist in tracking and streamlining outreach efforts and timelines, managing prospect lists in Salesforce, etc.
  • Support the larger Evergreen team as needed, to include helping to execute events of any scale throughout the year.
  • Provide client hospitality support during Red Sox games at Fenway throughout the season as necessary.

CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Work experience within fast-paced, unstructured and frequently changing environments. 
  • Industry experience within the hospitality or event industry is highly desired.
  • Confident and assertive with an ability to effectively influence others.
  • High-energy and creative individual.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team.
  • Motivated and driven by feedback.
  • Strong level of intensity and commitment to providing high-level work.
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with Salesforce and Social Tables a plus.
  • Must be available through Wednesday evening (11/25) to help with High School Football during Thanksgiving week.
  • Must be available to work throughout the month of December, including on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Time off will be provided to the entire team following the conclusion of the Wasabi Fenway Bowl in early January.
