2026 Summer - Marketing Intern - BFF

Our Marketing team plays a vital role in shaping how people discover and experience BFF, translating our mission into real-world moments that spark connection.

As a Marketing Intern supporting BFF, you’ll gain hands-on experience across integrated campaigns, social storytelling, and experiential activations. You’ll collaborate closely with brand, social, experiential, and agency partners to help bring friendship-driven campaigns to life — from strategy through execution and measurement. Grounded in our values of Curiosity, Courage, and Respect, this role offers the opportunity to learn how modern marketing — including AI-enabled workflows — can deepen community and drive growth.

You’ll report to a Marketing Manager and support initiatives that help more people find belonging through friendship.

 

What you’ll do

  • Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness and user growth for Bumble For Friends
     
  • Assist with IRL (in-real-life) activations led by the city ambassador  team — including events across the city with different BFF groups,  — helping coordinate logistics and capture content for our social team
     
  • Contribute to social strategy by helping ensure content resonates with our target audiences and aligns with brand voice and platform best practices. Engage with our audience across BFF’s social channels answering DM’s and engaging in comments.
     
  • Support coordination and tracking of creator and partnership deliverables, including monitoring timelines and social performance, researching influencers and trend spotting.
     
  • Maintain agendas, track next steps, and support agency accountability for weekly status meetings, demonstrating ownership and strong organisational skills
     
  • Assist with operational processes including maintaining budget trackers, processing influencer agreements purchase orders, and tracking contracts in partnership with operations and legal
     
  • Conduct market and audience research to uncover insights that inform campaign direction and creative development
     
  • Use AI tools responsibly to support research, drafting recaps, summarising performance insights, and improving workflow efficiency, demonstrating Curiosity and an agile mindset

     

About you

  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program and returning to your program for at least one semester following the internship
     
  • Typically requires 0–1 years of experience, though we welcome candidates with alternative backgrounds that demonstrate equivalent skills.
     
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines with attention to detail
     
  • Clear communicator who can simplify information into actionable next steps and structured updates
     
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and interested in learning campaign tracking and reporting tools
     
  • Demonstrates ownership, collaborates with purpose across teams, and adapts plans with an agile mindset when priorities shift
     
  • Passionate about building inclusive communities and motivated to role model Bumble’s values of Respect and Excellence in how you work
     
  • Curious about AI and emerging marketing technologies, with an interest in applying them thoughtfully to research, reporting, and creative support
