Events Internship

As our Events Intern, you will report to our Program Manager and play a key role in supporting our team while helping deliver remarkable, innovative event experiences focused on the needs of our members.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Event Support & Coordination: Support the planning and coordination of Chamber events, including logistics, vendor communication, registration management, and assisting with on-site event execution.
- What You’ll Gain: Valuable skills in event planning, coordination, and networking by connecting with local leaders and businesses.

Website & Digital Content Coordination: Support the coordination and updating of website content, including the Chamber’s Digital Boards and event registration pages. Additionally, create graphics for the office welcome sign to ensure a remarkable experience for every single guest.
- What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience in digital content creation and coordination while playing a direct role in connecting individuals and organizations to meaningful opportunities.

Database Management: Assist with maintaining and updating the Chamber's database to streamline everyday tasks and ensure data accuracy that drives the Chamber’s work.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Current undergraduate student or recent graduate, preferably pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Event Planning, Communications, Business, or Marketing.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to assist with event setup and teardown, including lifting materials up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods of time.
Hours:
- The internship will tentatively run from April 27 to August 28 (start and end dates are flexible and extension opportunities may be available).
- Part-time, 10-15 hours per week.
Compensation:
- $15 per hour.
